Technical Funky turn signals on a 39 Ford

I found this 8 by 10 of a 39 Deluxe. It has some cool simple mods but anyone know what those turn signals are off of? Back of pic says Otto Schmidt.

Looks like '37-'39Chevy or similar vintage Buick accessory parking lights.

 

Looks sorta' like a Flash Gordon/J.C. Whitney special

 

Kinda looks like the hood ornament on 46-48 Plymouths.

 

I had similar lights as turn indicators on my 37 chevy, and found out they were motorcycle sidecar clearance lights.
