they have a decent looking X member kit for a '32 frame. has anyone dealt with them recently and how was the service? they don't have a phone number apparently.
No but I got mine from Shadow Rods and I liked it better than anything else I had seen. Also liked dealing with them. Might want to take a look. http://www.shadowrods.com/pdf/framerail w bleed low qu.pdf
I emailed Clarke a while back about a bare '32 frame (because I like the X member over most people's tube X member). I didn't get a very quick response so I called and they said they no longer made frames. I later got an email response with a price so I have no idea if they really offer it or not. Maybe it was an old number I called?

This looks just like a Ch***is Engineering crossmember, and the brake pedal mount they sell looks exactly like CE. I bet they are just reselling CE parts. Call Ch***is Engineering and get one direct.
I just bumped into this thread - We have begun building '32 frames again as of September 2013. The overall demand had been so low during the recession, it was not feasible to keep the materials in stock. As for our crossmember, we have been a CE dealer for over 20 years, and use those cross-members exclusively. People contact us all the time to purchase them alone. We do not price them under the retail price online, to protect CE's direct sales efforts on their own site. However, we can always make package deals if you are purchasing other items. Thanks, Tim
