I need to take the leses off my tail lights. they are screwed to teh housings. The screws are quite corroded and quite stuck. They seem like they're corroded into the plastic. I can get on them with a vicegrips, and I got one to turn, but as soon as it moved, the plastic cracked. The red arrow points to one of the stuck *******s. Any tips for getting them out without breaking anything? Can I heat the lense with a hairdryer or something to expand the plastic like you would with metal? Thanks for the advise.

My experience has always been that heat in the plastic, makes it "gummy" and actually grips tighter, but the plastic seems less prone to crack.

Try heating the screw with a soldering gun. Apply a little heat and try to move the screw, do it over and over as you get the screw hotter but dont melt the plastic.
