Looks like a great project. I also have a Cadillac project going on. My car is a 52 2 dr. Metalshapes has posted a few pictures here when we were working on the sub frame swap. Good luck with yours and I can't wait to see the progress pictures.

That looks like a pretty solid body too. That will be cool. I dig the old cabover and F100 there too. So many cars...so little money....
    Nice score!.

Nice. I've always wanted a '54. I found one a couple years ago that was parked because the owner couldn't afford brakes. I stop by around Christmas and tax time to see if he could use any extra cash. So far no good. Sooner or later.
That D'Agostino Caddy kicks ***. I've got the Rod and Custom feature in my desk drawer for inspiration.

the F100 is my daily and the cab over is a Fontana, CA fire dept truck. the caddy is 85% rust free. no major fab work.

Alright, Dante!!!!! You done good, boy. But you do understand that a Cadillac man has to dress a little sharper than the average geek, doncha? It's part of what makes them expensive. What color do you have in mind? Primer is far beneath your metal working skills, I must say. No suggestions from me. Custom is the first part of the word customer, and that'd be you. It just screams to be two toned, but what colors? Hmmmmm?

The stoner dude in me says go with the smokin' smoking jacket. The bigness of that Coupe De Ville requires the yacht captain's hat too. It goes without saying that the chicks dig the caddy, daddy. I can see what your fantasy crew looks like, now back to the hard question: What Colors?

I think this is my 999th post. Glad to spend it on my favorite metal man.

Phil.... that's the hardest part of the build, picking a paint color(s). i'll get the body straight, primer it and seat down with a case of Newcastle. i'll stare it for awhile and i'll let the caddy tell me how she wants to be dressed. :p just hope i don't get too drunk and paint it some awful *** color. :( haha

  11. Like Newcasle... brown?

    :D

    Nice score.
