42 Ford Coupe - VIN# location??

I have a 42 ford coupe .. no ***le.. previous owner says car is from Argentina... firewall is not original and has no vin on it...

Will this car have a vin on the frame somewhere?? or perhaps another location...

Should be stamped on the top of the left frame rail just in front of the firewall first letter and last letter or number may be a *

 

left side usually closer to the front x than the firewall

 

I helped a guy with 42 ford and I saw numbers on the left frame rail, 1 in front of the firewall, 1 on the top of the left frame rail under the seat area and 1 on top of the hump over the rearend on the left frame rail.

 

Just in case you want to know.... 1942 frame identification numbers :
18-6,769,036 to 18-6.925,898

I remember corresponding with someone who searched and searched and searched...he finally triumphantly came up with his serial number: 11A-5019!
He'd found the part number for his front crossmember...
