I love both those rides and was surprised to see them on the bay...esp for that kind of money.....stoopid if ya ask me..but some people have more money than sense....so god bless the owners! I wish they didnt go over the lace job on the roof of Jesus old ride....The last listing the seller was getting beat up verbally by alot of people saying he ruined the car and made it like every other one thats out now...It was some funny sh1t....
Those are some hot rodz. I like em both, cept for the rear window on the silver one, and the gloss does kill the maroon one. It looked MUCH better satin.
The guy with the 2nd car hasn't even owned it that long. He bought it the way you see it minus the candy paint. My friend Jesus built the car with the help of all his friends. The current owner just bought it to flip it and make a few grand. The car was always at a lot of nor cal shows and it had a suede finish. Some old photos might be found @ the Billet Proof site.
Thats what i'm talking about...Jerry- how long ago was that car built?..Like atleast 10yrs ago if not longer right? I would love to hear the answer of the new buyer when somebody asks 'how much you pay for it?'.....how many give the real answer?,,,,you think the new owner is going to be like....'I paid 30 tho for it off e-bay'...YEAH RIGHT....we've seen that a too much on here...I bet not only will he prob soak up the credit for building the car but prob will knock about 15 gs off what he actually paid for it cause even he knew it was 'stupid'....lolol Its just funny that these cars werent sh!t a couple years ago and now all of a sudden they are asking that kind of money for them....
crazy talk. That thing looked great in satin agreed, but look at the bodywork. It deserves gloss paint. I would've left the lace roof though. Man, if they can get that kinda money with no interior......(wheels start turning)
some guys have the money for a turn key car.i wouldnt pay 35 grand for a car cuzz i build my own. but if you were to take a rolling 54 to a shop with a list of goodies like that silver car by the time it was finished a year or two later bet youd be 35 into it with the cost of the car. thats what seperates you from your customers.
