Got a good amount of snow up here tonight. About 4 inches id say. Had to drive from my dads place to my moms place and back home about a total of 50 miles on back roads and every thing in between. Other then having some cold *** fee and hands right now im happy as hell. Ill be even happier next week when i get all my heater parts:D

I was able to keep a decent pace of around 40-45 mph on heavly coverd roads. Very good traction and great braking abilitys. That dual master and new tires i invested in have paid for them selfs! So for all the wuss's;) that say old cars **** in the the snow i said screw them and p***ed em on the way home. O and elcaminos arent any lighter in the *** end then a impala so no added weight needed. But im sure with a little more snow the new lowering job may slow me down a bit but im sure it would be needed any way.

    Long live traditional winter beaters!:D

(and dont think i was zooming around driving like an ***, i wasnt so dont start drama;) )

I really dig the 59-60 Elco's. Glad to hear it did good in the snow, I have to throw atleast one engine in the back to get some traction in my f250, and we dont even get half as much snow down here as you.

    snow?whathahellizzat? it's about 76 and rainy here.
I do have about 4 inches of wet leaves on my car, tho'.

That Elky is just too damn nice. I still can't beleive how you got it.
plenty of room in the back for snow chains:D

how do you guys REALLY prep the bottoms of those cars for winter?(against salt attack?)
I have heard everything from a liberal bath of various oils to washing them when you get home.
I ain't buyin it, but I have seen alot of cars that lived thier life in that climate and didn't look like they had been sitting in the ocean for the last 30 years...
    what's your secret?

Well the cars had like probley two floors put in it from the looks of it. and its got a **** load of under coating on it. ill just run it thru a car wash tommrow when its suppose to be warm out again. It survied this long a little salt wont hurt it.

Greg your on for the donut contest:D i took my little bro up to a empty parking lot on the way home and was teaching him how to get it to spin around real good. haha i love long wheel base cars there so easy to control in a spin:D

    Mmmmmmm donuts....

We got about an inch on Thursday...didn't last. I'm really itchin' to see how my new winter ride reacts to gettin' tossed around a vacant parkin' lot.

Dirty...that sum***** is lookin' better and better.
