Lulabelle update-51 chev with 53 top

Remember guys,I'm a novis at this.Here's a couple of pics of the car at this point.I'm not sure what backglass It'll have yet,might be a cut down windshield with the same contour.

very nice, but why the later top on an earlier car? usually it's the other way due to the rear window.

The first time I did it,I screwed it up bigtime.The 53 top was the best one I could find at the time.

I like that. I like it a LOT! Just how close is a 53-54 roof when you line up the posts and contour of a 49-52?

 

I was up and saw it and you would be surprised how close it is.

looks like it came out really good. the flow of the roof into the trunk is nice, and with the car being dumped...it all flows sooo soooo smoothly. good work.

Hey Dousche bag. your ears must have been burning when you did this post. I was talking with clark late Friday night in daytona and I asked how your ride was coming, he told me you sold the "dark side" roadster and were putting another roof on your car. It looks great. I told him the PA crew needs to do a weekend slam and make sure you have the car up and running for Larry's show next year. you must have a driver for it. (plus with Tony driving his down, that would be two cool customs in attendence.

They told me the turntable is taken that weekend, but i have the velvet rope on order and the stantions should be back from the chromers by then.... to take a line from Tuck..it'll be "PIMPHOUSE" tm..
