    yeah that is kewl....i have a 47 coupe.......i just founda 47 desan with a flathead in it for 1500 running and driving....im going to look at it soon

    The S10 steering wheel is going! I think I'm going back to a vintage 40's steering wheel by Lecarra. Not quite sure but leaning that way.

    Should I flame it or no flames?:confused:

    I vote for Flames and changing the steering wheel also. Have you considered going back to an original column and wheel. I used the origninal column and modified the shifter to work the AOD trans.

    I like it just fine without the flames. Ditch the S-10 wheel, find a 40's or 50's stock steering wheel you like, then cut the splined center out of the S-10 unit and weld it into your donor wheel. Way cheaper than a LeCarra wheel and cooler, too.

    Then turn those white letter tires around and you're a winner.
