anyone get the rodders journal # 30 yet?? ive seen it at the bookstore and recently sent my re-subscription in and want to make sure i get it. anyone get it at the house yet? thanks
I got mine at the book store last week. I gave up on the subscription, I cant stand getting it late. Good issue, a couple of strange picks of feature cars, but very cool history stuff.
man we didn't even get issue 29 on the stands yet. i really wanted to see the photos of that hemi T all finished (altho i did see some in R&C, but those are like teaser pics compared to TRJ...).
**** man, i still aint got issue 29 from them, let alone 30. piss on TRJ subscriptions...ship time blows, and the customer service you get ****s *** as well. im buyin mine from the bookstore from now on...its got the friggin bar code, but at least i GET the ****in thing at least the $110 bucks for a year of the mag went to Ryan to keep the HAMB up an goin, and not into TRJ's pocket
I got mine today. I will agree that there were some odd choices for feature cars, but the two featured coupes make me drool. seriously.
Well, it's very kind of TRJ to put up a subscription for auction four times a year, but is it good to keep some money out of TRJ's pocket? Considering the product they put out, I'd say they deserve it all. I would rather pay for a subscription just to make sure no middleman takes a cut, even if it takes a little longer to get it.
thats all well and good... IF YOU GET the product they promise to send you when you pay for it..like i say, i still havent gotten the last issue
This is exactly the reason I have only purchased this awesome mag from borders and have not actually subscribed . But , Isn't the editor or publisher of TRJ a hamb member? I think so . Hopefully this post will call him out.I know in the past ( if I remember correctly )that they have given generously to the HAMB and its cause. Late scrips eat *** though and that is way un-****in cool. swaZZie

That's a bummer, happened to me too once. They're not very good with answering e-mails, so give them a call on the ol' trustworthy telephone. It solved the problem when I did it, as I got a new one, three times!
