I have three or four, and was wondering what to do with them. They're too wide to use on the front of the '30s Fords and they don't fit the banjo rears. Suppose I could use them on 9", Olds or similar rears if I put the hangers close enough together. Any thoughts?

you could use them on a rear axle that you are making your own mounts for. seen the choppers use a front spring on the rear of one of there rods...

Interesting. I'll have to do some measurements and compare.

my brand new 32 frame is being built now (jack strunk cincy o) with a new 40 front posie super slide spring.it will be mounted on a set of 35 split wishbones.he uses a mount that welds to the axle housing. then you bolt the bones on.

i have a pattern for the plates if anyone needs it.i can scan and send it full size.
sounds like a tech. to me.i will be able to take pictures next week of the frame and rear also.:)

Cool. I would very much like a copy of that pattern. I have a pair of '35-'36 radius rods that I want to mount on a 9" rear end.
