I have been obsessing over these Marsh's checkered flag slicks since I first saw them in a magazine about 7 or 8 years ago. I finally saw a pair in person at Goodguys Indy. They were bucks, but I couldn't help myself. Since then I have picked up a few more...I don't know if I can stop.

Here are the Marsh's. They're 8.20-15s. Man, I love them!

Here's a pair I bought from Gary. I have been harping on him to sell them to me for a year. I finally got them. NOS M&H Racemasters. Tiny little 6.70-15s with the stickers still on them.

    Hell yeah!

Then there's this oddball I got for free! It's a 7.60-15 MT Super Stock Dragster. He needed a good home.

    Howdy guy's
Kirk was nice enuff to bring those MARSH slicks down to BILLETPROOF when I showed intrest in them.I had them in the booth all weekend, was hard to let them go when I left. Thanks again for the booth space!!!! Will be there next year!! I believe I have the only known mold for the casler still in operation.
I need your help, I have seen other CASLERS on E-BAY and they did not look like mine. We still dont have the bugs worked out in this tire yet but should be soon.

Those are going to be killer!

BTW I spoke to Mr. Hurst recently and he's pretty impressed with the way you guys are running the operation. Much better than (remaining unnamed), who fucked him over.

[Here is one that is currently not in production but should have it soon.
Ron called it the ROSEBURG 27x7x15. Have some others too but my damn camera took a poop. Hope to have that resolved soon. But from some of the other various styles of very early cheater slick molds that we have in stock, what they did "at least in recaping molds" was add spacer rings to all purpose molds creating a slick "solid band" of rubber where the mold was widend to make bigger contact patch. The outer part of the original mold would still have tread but the center up to 2" wide would be smooth. Also from what Ron told me the PIE CRUST was created to reduce stress on the tire becuase of all the weight of the capp. A solid shoulder with no detail would come apart.

I have a pair of NOS Englewood 8.15x15 cheater slicks mounted on white steelies on the back of my '63 Impala super stocker look alike.

When I was a little kid, Bruce's Tire in Santa Clara CA was where mom and dad would by tires for our '61 Rambler wagon. I still have some of their old decals ("Bite By Bruce's" with the alligator).

I have a pair of Mickey Thompson / Radir 8.20x15 slicks mounted on ET 5 spokes on the back of my '57 Chevy gasser.

Sorry, no pics, I'm stuck in the twentieth century.

I almost forgot, I also have a pair of JC Penney 10.00x15 slicks mounted on chrome smoothies loose in the back yard.

  27. I'd really like to find a set of 10:00 or 11:00 X 15" M&H Racemaster Dragsters(pie crusts)to mount on these wheels.The single wheel in the foreground is a 16",& I have new M&Hs for them.(Ive already inquired at M&H on the 15s,,,no-go)
I sold the 15s to Mousie for the Winged Express, but the bolt pattern was wrong,so I bought them back from him for my project. He put the tires on them.

Kirk, I saw those slicks for 2 years at the swap. I considerd buying them, but I figured it was a lot to pay for a wall hanger. I would be afraid to run them because when they're gone, they're gone. We bought a cheaper set that Abomber30 ended up with but they were 14's.

I am partial to the ones that I have. Photo by Mongo.

Yeah, but I'm an idiot. Now I'm fretting over what wheels to mount them on and then how to best display them in the garage. I definitely won't be running them.
