Hey Thanks, got it for $2500 cnd ($1850 US) just the way she is. All I did was redo the brakes, new draglink and fixed the speedo and park brake. I'm 17 and high school budget sucks, so no mayor mod wil be done to it for awhile.
This is what she looks like as of last week

Here are my suggestions along with a shitty MS Paint chop-job...

1.)Bring the front wheel well in a few inches to shrink the opening
2.)Use Chevy rear fenders hacked to size
3.)Recreate the same resized wheel well openings from the front into the rear fenders
4.)Slap some Cragar SS wheels with raised white letter tires
5.)Paint it (insert color of choice) metallic with HEAVY flake
    6.)White tuck and roll interior

(Note to self) Again... Get Photoshop at work.....

You could put your shop logo on the bed sides and leave the doors clean. :p
The itty-bitty rear fenders don't help none either. (visually)

Here's a little number that I whipped up.

Chopped, lowered, rear of the bed shortened , lower rear of the bed raised, rear fender raised, front wheel opening moved up and forward, modified front bumper from a 1954 Chevy.

biggest problems i saw were the fenders both front and rear.. not very fast looking... nor complimentary to the wheels... and the high bed. other than that i did the usual stuff...

  17. High school budget, guys.

Wide whites (this is probably gonna max the H.S. budget, already). Drop it as as possible without having to buy expensive bags (smaller wheels might be a good place to start). Shave some trim and the handles. Drive.

    my 2¢.

    Nice truck, by the way.

  19. Oh yeah...I forgot he said "go wild".

Man you guys amaze me!!!! Thanks a lot guys, they're all great. I know the rear fenders are gonna be my main concern when dropping. I'm working hard during the winter so next summer I can do some more stuff to it. Next summer I gotta get new shocks, take springs out, remove a few leaft, clean 'em up and put nylon strips between them (you know those crazy-carpets snow racers? perfect material). I'm not flipping the rear axel, just removing as much spring as possible. And then I planned on wide whites (grind them).

    Thanks a lot guys,

there is speed equipment around, but it never seems to be cheap these days. You could build your own dual intake and exhaust, as some have done here, and mill the head, that'd be cool.

As Moparsled put it, custom make an intake and shave the head a bit. This is stuff you can do in hs machine shop! Use it, get marks and a custom ride!

Your plan is great (springs and sliders), then some ground ww's. Go hard!

Damn, those photo shop guys rock!
