My Dad bought this car when we lived in Maryland. 54 Chevy convertible, Frenched headlights, and tail lights. Shaved hood, doors, and trunk lid. Louvered hood. Had a J2 Olds, with a stick. Gold with a black top and interior. He sold it because my Mom couldn't push in the clutch. That's me in the picture. I was born in 1958.
So you were born with the disease? It's the kids like you who I feel sorry for, haven't really got a chance in life!!!! your parents have got some explaining to do......lol <img>
What is it about being born in 1958 so cool! I guess it had to do with the cars that our folks owned. My pops had a 50 Ford shoebox convert that had a checkerboard top, skirts, taildragger stance. I got old pics of it but dont know how to post them. You dad had a cool car! You should find one like it and build it.
Ya I do wonder what happened to it. Being from Maryland, if it wasn't put away for the winter, it might have had a rough life. Hopefully whoever bought it, Realized what they had. Dean
I've heard a lot of guy's say "some day i'm gonna build a car like my dad had".... I've said it myself many time's....... If that was my dad's old car, i'd be wanting to build one just like it! Thanks for the pics!
Great pics...as I mentioned in another thread it's not always the focus of the photo but whats in the back ground... Buick nose in the 1st left hand corner and the rest of the cars in shot!
