34Fordtk, that's a sad story, money always wins. When you view the stuff, can you find out about the Davis fuel injection unit that's shown in the pics, sure looks like a copy of a Corvette unit. Just to see and touch this stuff would put me in heaven. Thanks for the links.
Ok, Maybe I'm the only guy here that is not impressed, cars from that era do nothing for me. SURE! I'd LOVE to have the pile for as long as it takes to SELL it and finance stuff I love. Dumpster Dan owned it and enjoyed it his way so I wouldn't say he was right or wrong, his toys, soon to be played with by others.
37, I think you are too old to understand. Imagine those engines as Frontenacs, Duesenburgs, and Offys. Picture a nice Miller grille where the Corvette teeth are. How about some Buffalo wires in the trunk of the Yenco instead of Corvette knockoffs? Are you getting a clearer picture??

Sorry, won't work, Mona Lisa vs. that Warhole can of Tomato Soup that's not art either. Hand ***embled race equipment vs. m*** produced GM iron, I don't get it.
One of the "Treasures" in this stash is a brand new, still in the crate, Alluminum Chevy BB. Supposed to be worth in excess of 75,000. I knew Don, he was always first one at a swap meet. Even as far from GB as I live, I would run into him leaving with an armful of stuff just as I was getting there, and got there at what I thought was EARLY. There are a great bunch of stories about Donny and his collection. I don't remember if it was mentioned on this post but a lot of the 21 trailers that were ****tered around Green Bay had the doors welded shut. I am taking the camera and will take a lot of pictures. BB
it's a nice stash- but I would not value it in multi-multi millions- not as a package deal. Car parts are like land- when you buy volume like that, the price goes down per part. The way to get the most out of that is, break it up. Sell each car individually, then sell each part. there's a guy in Vermont with a pile of stuff too- lots of early Hemi and even 426 hemi stuff, etc. He had it on Ebay for a million or something, no bids. He still has it. the cars are worth a lot- but only if restored to pristine. In rough shape, the price drops quickly
Gosh, that is unbelieveable. Kind of makes you wonder what happens to all you "stuff" when it's your time to get into the "checkout lane" - 20 sins or less.
