a Hudson 1946? I guess that rules out my FIRST choice Where the hell are my kustom HAMBERs? It's is nice to know so many of you love '60's Imps if I ever feel inclined to sell mine!
How about a '54 Hudson Italia? Only 29 made. I want the one that had a V8. Or if they made this convertible, I'd want it. The convertible is presumed scrapped.
"Get me a new Hudson with an electric shift," and of course ,if you can guess what movie that is from ,you win a cookie
Is that from "Driving Miss Daisy"? I remember the movie trailer for that the guy said they had a brand new Hudson in the garage that they never use or something like that.
I'd go with a Tucker too....Preston had the right idea....I'd hafta pick one of these three...1959 Cadillac Hearse, Tucker 48, or a '67 Mustang Shelby Gt 500 with a 427 side oiler (one of three) ....I'm actually half-heartedly searching for the hearse already....only half cuz for the time being I'm outta space and dough!
no from kelly's heroes at the end they are loading the gold ,eastwood says that is what he is going to buy first,
1967 cutlass 442 with w-30 option(ram air)muncie 4 and ralley guages. 1963 pontiac grand prix421 tri powerblack with whit guts and optional 8 lug wheels. 1940 hudson.
1955 Lincoln Capri, any color is fine with me. OK, now that I really thought about it I will change my answer to the Nick Matranga Merc. It was built in the time frame specified but not by the factory. It is as close to a perfcet custom as I can think of and one of the few I've ever seen that I wouldn't change anything on. And I would proudly drive it. So there you have it.
I know some of you guys are kinda young compared to me, but '68 came AFTER '66. Mine would hafta be a '64 Dodge hemi, lightweight, no back seat, etc. I remember going to Reedmans in Langhorne, PA a bunch of times just to sit in a couple they had in stock. Can I paint mine? I remember them all being white with red interior, too "chick" for me.
1956 Chrysler 300 B, because if i chose a 1948 plymouth convertable I would have to chop the top and use a hoped up 54 chrysler flat six in place of the stock engine.
1st series chapparal (it just is...) '51 mg td with a roots blown 91 cu in Offy midget motor, on "D" type jag wheels (going to look at one tomorrow, just a base td though) 300 SLRC (with no mufflers, just the straight pipes ripping from the desmo straight 8) Cunnigham C4R K, baddest hemi engined race car ever! (yah i know it is 4 but, if the offer is up why not ask?)
1963 1/2 pontiac tempest lemans convertable with 326 4speed ok i'm cheatin they only came automatik with popsicle stick shifter on the dash anybody know where I can get one ?had one at 16 want another but would put in the 4 speed transaxle
This will go against my brand preference, but i can modify my Chevy all i want. To stay within the requirements of this question (keep it stock), I would say an altered wheel base 1965 Dodge Cornet A/FX with a Hilborn injected 426 and a four-speed. Just like Dave Strickler's.
My thoughts exactly. Enzo sure built a fine machine. Too bad not even the biggest rap star can afford a real one.
