so since i am feeling dirty, here are some pics of a recent find...complete. it is a 1937 La Salle 4 door sedan. It was originally painted grey with a tan interior. Great looking car inside and out. It was resprayed in the 50's, which was the last time it was registered. But the over spray is peeling off, if you were really dedicated, it probably could be removed entirely and just have the original paint. sorry the pictures stink, but it is all i have right now, i lost the other roll of film.
i am thinking fuel injected sbc and an auto ******, with a jag rear-end and some peach paint with purple, yellow, and orange neon graffix, and some early boyd tri spokes and super padded interior and oh ya, almost forgot a digital billet dash and flamed billet steering wheel sorry, this one looks like it will stay stock, cause i would love a 3 speed lasalle ****** and v8 in a 30 A bone. (2nd owner car...still has the original Bill of Sale! from the 1st owner)
yep, you're headed in the right direction with the injected sbc and peach paint. just be sure to paint the bumpers and trim too. and sell all the old **** to me. that'll help pay for the crate motor.
i was reading some other post and i completely forgot, the custom billet valve covers, that have some wacky number in it like 432 Stickemup, cause it was a combo of my high school baseball and racketball jersey numbers.
damn those are both nice, specially the Chrysler. 59 was a great year for Mopar styling (IMHO of course). Only barn find I ever came across was a 54 Chevy 4 door sedan back when we were kids. The windows were rolled down and the cows literally backed up to it and **** inside the car. My cousing bought it for like $250. He shovelled, s****ed and hosed that car out for days trying to get that cow**** out of it. No ****.
