  1. Dammit and wow-zee-wow-zee-wow!!!! Great pictures and thanks for sharing them. Now I have the itch to hear the bias plies whining on the asphalt. Suppose I should get the car running first.

Just one problem with all those great pix - I'm now an hour behind schedule, it's 11:49PM, and I have a report to finish for the morning!!! I need a Corona too.

When will you leave and when will you return? One Buckeye Rodbuilder might want to attach in Columbus. I will bring this.

110.474 to be exact. BUT....the engine wasn't the one he had built to run Bonneville. The real race engine didn't run right.......so they built up a basicaly stock engine with an Isky cam and Edelbrock heads and ran that. This year was a learning year. They learned protocall and got over rookie jitters. Now next year is a different story. All I can say is there is a new engine in the works, but that's as far as I go with that.

Come to Bonnevile in '06 and see how much fun we're having, because having fun is what this group is all about. I spent 16 days with 10 people and did not have one day where I wished I'd stayed home. There wasn't any post trip let down. As I drove home to Cape Cod the day after we got to NY, all I could think of is doing it all over again in '06.
