What do you want for a shirt design???.... I have an art guy that does our band posters for the bar that could whip something up right quick for free, just shoot me an PM
    see examples Here
    www.silverdollarsaloon.info (our site)
http://www.northernedgemusic.info/ click on "poster art" on the right column, a lot of this stuff would be better simplified for a t-shirt print, however, here's some potential. let me know.... (one of my faves)[IMG]

I print poster and tee shirts.
I live in france. If I can help you, I'm happy to do it.

    Hello,

    Here's my proposition:

    I used Jeff's ideas

I chose to draw this logo in the ink to remind on the spirit year 50's.
The used typography is a typography typically used by the letter paint during the 30s and 50s.

I know that some people would like more colored and modern logos but I think that the purpose is to speak about a period that we like all.

The idea is to print this logo in black on a white teeshirt (good quality, not transparent) reference to the greasers of the beautiful years and their white T-shirt... (it's possible to print the logo in another color on another color shirt)

I hope that it will be advisable for most large number !

I like this design very much. I would like to see the H.A.M.B. logo on the back as well, perhaps in the area just below the '56 Ford.

How do the rest of the guys feel about that?

I agree with Eric. I like it but think we should have the H.A.M.B logo on back as well.

Ok, it's possible to insert the HAMB logo on the back. If some people want it, I will make this modification. Excuse my english, it's difficult for me to speak good...

Looks good. I have always been a fan of the work shirt look myself though they are more money then the t-shirts.

Yup, I'm liking the design as well and agree that the logo should probably go on back too.

Pocket or no, I don't care but prefer pocket. White or color(s), don't care either but prefer darker colors (so I'm a slob, darks hide stains :) ). Is it possible to include the option for pockets or colors, or are we just going with one choice for now other than size?

If the design has been chosen and if we print them in our studios, it will be possible to include options. It will make a little more organization for the orders.
But it belongs to Jeff to decide what will be best for all.

Guys,I think this looks great! the HAMB logo on the back to the right above the '56 would be a good idea too. I would like to know about color options also I am thinking ash grey and a powder blue.Remi, what were you able to find out about shipping costs ?,I know some of the guys will probably want more than one and also a lot of us use paypal and would like to know payment options.

well an easy way to offer options would be to set this up on cafepress http://www.cafepress.com/

Is everyone thinking only 1 color, or can we do multi color? Say, red for the HAMB logo, like it shows on the webpage, and maybe 1 black car, and 1 red car?

Here's all the different types of product that cafe press offers.

    popular products

    women

    men

    kids & baby

    flair

I dont know if it would be too small or not, but I think the HAMB logo, or at least the letters, would look good in the license plate area on the 56. Prefer darker colors with no pockets, but would wear them regardless. If we go with lighter colors, I'm definitely gonna have to order a bunch due to stains and such. Just my two cents.

Also, we'd want to check with the people upstairs who actually own the HAMB trademark. Rather get permission for this. I think cafe press could be setup so any proceeds would go to HAMB.

Jeff already got the go ahead from Ryan if I am not mistaken. I am sure we will get Ryan to sign off on it before final production anyway.

I'm a newbie here so a little insecure about chiming in, but I didn't care much for the word "social". It just seems kind of misleading, its a car group not a social group, so I'd humbly suggest having it just say 52-56 Ford Group.

    Hi Steve! Welcome aboard!

Actually, the word "social" works pretty well with this bunch. It implys that we all get along well...and we do. In fact, the '52-'56 Ford Social Group is an official HAMB "flame-free zone." We do not tolerate disrespect in any form and keep a spirit of helpfulness formost.

So... Don't be a bit insecure or afraid that you might say the wrong thing or ask a "stupid" question and get ridiculed for it. You won't.

We're all here to help each other with our cars. That's why it's called a social group, and why the term really does fit.

So... Join in, ask questions, offer help if you can and poke fun at the old farts...if you dare. We believe in the old saying, "fun with cars"...and we keep it that way.

    Welcome aboard! :)

First, I'd like to thank Remi for his efforts- much appreciated. I certainly don't want to step on any toes either, but I'm not a huge fan of the design. Nothing personal, of course, but I think it lacks detail. Having had a lot of different t shirts made this year, I have found some of the things that do and do not work. IMHO, a white shirt is a bad idea- especially for car guys! I thought that someone else was already working on the design, so I didn't submit anything- but I do have designs and will post within the next 24 hrs.

Also, I can't see how getting the shirts from anywhere other than the U.S.A. could possibly be more cost effective. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Again, please understand that I am not trying to be negative in any way- this is, after all, the best (and most polite) group on the HAMB.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Oh yeah, I think "52-54 Ford Owner's Group" works well.

I missed the previous post where it was suggested that Remi supply the shirts as well as the design.

I'm not really fussy about the design or the shirt color - whatever the group wants is fine with me - but I'd much prefer the shirts were sourced in the USA.

No offense to Remi whose efforts are greatly appreciated.

I must say.... I really appreciate all the efforts that all have put into this project. Here are a bunch of guys spread across the continent and even overseas getting something done with great ideas and effort. Great job guys! The only thing I've done is just wanting some when done! I like light blue to match my car... You too Eric?
