1952-59 Ford What electric wiper motor fits a '55 Ford?

    I've read that the tri-5 chevrolet wiper motors will work but they are expensive, anybody know of any other motor that will work?
     
  2. G'day mate one of the other members on here is working on a 55/56 ford wagon,He's used 4runner 4wdrive electric motor.
    4t6ford is his user name and he's got some good pic's in his albums.
    I hope that helps and i hope i got his name right.

    You really can't beat the New Port Engineering Kits. Maybe a little more expensive, but they fit and work if you have 12 volt.

    I pretty much have to agree with Paul, I put one in a 54 and to date it was the easiest install I've done. About $220. with the switch extension.

    I put a newport in my father inlaws 55 and it wouldn't move on low speed and stop where ever you turned off the switch. We sent it back they sent us a new. Nice people to deal with.
