I'm sure Speedway will sell you a pair of special glasses that make all motors look like flatheads. But they have cardboard frames, so don't try to wear them in the rain.

Good points on both sides of this coin. I myself feel it's a little over the top, and doll'in up a Chevy with Olds vc seems kinda rediculous and really going out of your way to make a chevy motor look like an Olds, which it doesnt in the first place. No i take it back. This is STUPID!!!

Know a guy who did this deal long before this company was in existence.

He has one of the nicest 2 toned 49 Olds coupes that one ever saw.
He has a junkyard 1994-TBI-350/700R4/10 bolt combo asy form a wrecked chevy truck & other donor cars.
He did this project years ago & another old timer partner of his gifted him a set of 49-50 NOS Olds v/c's that he found at a small swap meet back about 10 yrs ago
If you guys saw it, you'd think that it looked factory-because it is, no store bought parts on this Hot Rod Olds. he even adapted the tilt column from the truck & painted the column the interiors original color & is running the factory 49's wheel with horn ring.
This guy is over 70 yrs old and shares a ownership of a "Hobbie Shop" where all they do is build their own cars. A new one rolls out every couple of years.
This is what hot rodding is all about=Using your nut!!!!
I'm a pretty tradional guy, but I appreciate the amount of thought that goes into a quality project.

I'm gonna cut all the corners and just buy one of those chrome fender scripts that says "hotrod" and put it on a cheap 78 Gremlin. Then I'm done!

Way cool dude I'm sure nobody will notice the heads, exhaust ports, or water pump are still SBC you'll have all the gearheads fooled.

If you want an SBC then run and SBC there are plenty of ways to build a good looking one.

I'm sure the 1%ers will get a good laugh outta that one.

It's all these SBC owners that run up the prices on olds 49 valve covers!!!
heck if i wanted to buy a pair to run on my 303 i have to bid against these sbc people... GET YOURSELF SOM FRICKING CAL CUSTOM OR CORVETTE VALVE COVERS they are cool enough!!
