New to the board and thought i would follow the rules this time....can't believe I read them.

My name is Tex:D ...Just kidding

Been building cars since i was 15, own several right now, been building muscle cars and 55's the past years.
Working on a 55 Plymouth Belvedere right now, also own a 64 A100, two 55 Chevies, couple of Novas, DODge Dart and a 66 Chevy Corvette.(hey evryone makes a mistake now and then)

I am still trying to figure out what exactly is a traditional hot rod but that's allright, I am sure one of Y'all will be sure to tell me.

If you are from the Houston area and feel inclined, send me a Hey and tell me where the rodders hang out. Haven't found much in Houston as far as Rodding goes.. Been to the car shows, usually taking one of the pretties, just got tired of being like every one else.

Thanks for having me, I'll try to keep the ruckuss down.:)

  4. Welcome to the HAMB Trannyman. There are alot of HAMBers in the Houston area but we all seem to be spread out all over the place. I think some of the guys are meeting downtown somewhere but not sure when or where. Sounds like you have your hands full of things to work on. Good luck and welcome.

Welcome to the board. You will find that you can learn a lot here, no matter what level of knowledge you may have. The guys and resources here have helped me out tremendously, in many ways.
Sounds like you have a lot of muscle cars. Don't let the comments get to you on that..

    Welcome!

That makes three from Sugar Land, if I count... probably some of us lurking too.

Next event time, we should all hook up. InDaShop, you listening? Next Southwest Street Machine's Spring Fling in Rosenberg for sure, if not sooner.

I will try and let you know next time Big E. has a gathering at the Continental Club (mad props to the Crushers CC!).

Yeah figured you'd heard that one before...but I just had to say it anyway. :D

Ok so the A100 is cool...lotta potential there...but the Belvedere is pretty much beggin' to be built ain't it! Damn Texans and their almost nonexsistant rust. That's exactly why I had one of my 98's drug home from there.

Tell ya what. I'll trade alllllll my cars for alllllll of yer cars. Should work out about even eh?

    Have fun here...

Shoot man, I got the Belvedere from Shelby Montana. Down here along the coast everything rusts out. I got the A100 from the panhandle from one of the members here.

I've apparently had my head up my ass and didn't know there was another couple Sugar Land guys. WHERE YA BEEN? WHERE'VE I BEEN?

You'll prolly see the other thread but yeah 1st Sunday every month in the Jimmy's Icehouse in the Heights.

I've only been by the Otto's thing and never seen enough to stop. If i have a Saturday night not scheduled up we roll up to Champions for the Nifty Fifty's deal.

Also get your shit ready for Austin 90ish days and counting 'til Roundup!!!!
