Addendum: Thanks to the Swede for the awesome pics as well.

  4. Just to clarify, I don't have a beef with Jim or any of the other staffers that I know are here on the HAMB.
Also there is nuthin' wrong with the magazine that I recall. Its a personal thing.

OK this is way off topic for this thread so I'm sorry.

I have been looking through my old issues of R&C I have seen the article in question so between finals etc I will make an effort to find it.

Young lady if I find the article the issue is yours it probably won't help find the car but it would be a cool thing to have. I know that an aquaintence has an old Popular Hot Rodding (I think) that has an article that mentions my old man and I would sure like to own it.

About like the medeival (sp?) times. HAMBer Knights, on their traditional steeds, rescuing a damsel in distress. :D

Do we have a King Arthur?

Wanna step up and be Sir Lancelot (or Mistress Lancelot)?

    Again, thanks a lot.
The Damsel, definitely not in distress, though:) I'm happy, and super stoked that I'm getting closer to finding da T-Bird. Hell, I'll be glad if it is the one in the museum. At least it is in a safe place being preserved. That's all that matters, really, preserving da old school. Take care, people, stay tuned.

Clarification: I'm not sending a picture of myself to Winfield. This is all about finding the 1958 Thunderbird scalloped by Watson. That's my focus. I have no interest in modeling on top of the hood of a car, UNLESS IT IS THE SAME HOOD MY MOM POSED ON IN 1958, and then I"ll gladly send that picture to anyone. Be on the look out for a 1958 Squarebird, hopefully still sporting a candle apple red/pearl custom paint job. Thanks ahead.

No Doubt about the "Cloned Square Birds" There are 3 of them on this page.
2 painted & one going in the booth. He probably did a bunch for customers during that time.

    Tiff:
Old registrations are the way to go. =If this car is still in the system- either being currently registered or on a non-op,it can be traced to a current owner.
If you have a name of the person that it was sold to, do a google or people search. Anybody can be found. it just takes a lil time.;)

Yep, this wouldn't be a mystery if I knew the man's name. I'll look into the DMV search without a name, only make and model, and my mom's name.
Meanwhile, trying to find Larry Watson is bugga:rolleyes: The guy's kinda reclusive it seems

I am curious too. I just sent T-Bird Huntress a private email to see if there is any news that can be posted, but it came back undeliverable...

If you do a search for "tiffany edwards" news reporter
there is some results that come up. I didn't have time to look through much but she listed a number of 808.938-8592 on one website. I've not been involved yet so I'm not up for calling her. If someone gets a hold of her or if its a bad number let me know and I'll take it off here...
