small update on the 32

    made this little suspension stop for the rearend.Still got to add a spine to it..[​IMG]

    heres the the steering arm after I had my favorite machine shop lengthen it for me

    under the cowl

    I think Im going to make a new pitman arm. I also have to hang a pillow block bearing under the cowl to support the steering arm..

    Great looking mount, but I think a big bump like taking a rail crossing at speed or something would bend that in a second, due to the holes taking most of the strength out. maybe box it along the bottom edge to stiffen it up?
    EDIT : im a ****nuckle. just noticed you wrote youre adding a spine...well at least great minds think alike! :D :rolleyes:

    exactly. I plan on adding a spine to it next week. After I got in it looked a bit flimsy. Once its boxed it "should" be strong eough...

    TxRat,

    Your truck rocks! That is one of the coolest rides i've seen in a while. I would never have the confidence in fabricating to even try some of the stuff you do. When it's finished i might have to drive down south to check it in person.

    Looking great! I'm building a '30 Ford PU, and you are about 5 steps ahead of me. Watchin' your progress has really kept me motivated, so keep it up! Excellent work so far.
