I was thinking of some vents that open up, on the side of the body, between the rear verticle of the doors and between that and the rear tire, kinda like shark gills. It will have a deck lid after I make one and will have it louvered to hell...........Littleman
You know I love this thing. I'm guessing you are going to have the tank poke through the body? Cool! No grille shell and just a tank up front, perfect.
Um, maybe its just me, but I think your ride makes a huge visual impact without a decklid. Awesome ride all around and I hope that sometime I could see it in person.
Yes it will peek out.....Color, boy I have no idea as of yet, just know the firewall will be flaked.....was kinda thinking flat red for the body, with the Devil on the roof the entire size of the roof, need to find someone to draw up an evil goateed devil...................littleman
^^^Man that would suit it perfect. Then I would get "Death's Doorstep" done on the trunk in Graffitti style lettering. You do amazing work, I absolutley love that car.
Bad *** as always Littleman. It looks better and better every time. I cant wait for the action shots of it when you get it on the road.. Jonney
I love that coupe. What size/material water lines will you use? What size fans, and what will you do for a pump? A fella gave me some ideas about a rear mounted rad, all centered around having nothing but engine showing in the front. 1. Trunk mounted rad with big electric fans. 2. No engine mounted water pump: hide electric pumps on frame rails (1" is the biggest I know about, though) 3. No alt/generator on engine: axle mount the alt and use a 9" yoke with integral pulley. 4. No rad hoses showing: block off the front water pump p***ages and make water neck adapters that thread into the rear freeze plug holes. Something to consider.
Man that is really coming along nicely. And your shop set up is terrific. A mill, a lathe, shear and lots of other good stuff. Good for you. I am jealous!
I have one big electric fan that covers the entire rad., and moves alot air....I plan on getting a Stewart electric water pump, that moves 55 GPM...I still need to figure out the water line dia., but will be nothing under 1" dia., I may fab up some aluminum tube for hard lines and rubber hose the ends.....Still working on that, just not to that point in the build yet.........Still do not know what to do about the alternator........................Littleman
What about 1.5" stainless tubing, durable and polishes very nicely? You can get stainless braided flex connectors for a completed look. One of the HAMBers from Texas is a Swagloc rep and could steer you for what you need.
I was thinking aluminum because it tends to transfer the heat alittle quicker than stainless. But may use it only in the front, then use aluminun the rest of the way back.and funny thing is, I also work for Swagelok here in snowy Ohio.............Littleman
I plan on being at the Autorama all weekend... and plan on spending some quality time with DeathsDoorStep. I can't get over how perfect this thing is.
Wicked cool man! Why would you paint the devil on the roof, you'll never be able to see it. Ha Ha Ha I guess everyone else could tell you how cool it looks though. I've been saving some extra special hugs for you.
I am hoping to get this thing their, I have a long way to go, it will not have any of the boby work done if I make it.You can crawl in it , under it and over it all you want.and I can show you everything that I would like to do over, Thanks for the kind words, but it is far from perfect and I have alot of to learn and need to exercise more patience.........Littleman
Holy **** balls Batman!!! Let me be your Robin! As always looks great man. I am going to start hauling junk out of a new house soon. I am moving right after Christmas. It has a garage and a huge barn. Plus the one shed has three phase power. That means I can hook up my dual gun Miller comercial MIG. Time to get back on track! Forget the devil man just put a bat symbol!
Do you happen to have any more pics of the front-end? Your car is giving me inspiration for my rod, whenever I get started on it. I have a Hilborn injection stack injection system, and I was thinking about running a setup like you have with the radiator in the back, and the fronmt of the motor clear, save for the surge tank for the fuel system. Yes, I would be leaving it as a mechanical fuel injection setup, and might even run the ******* on methanol. More detail of the cooling system would be great. Thanks.
Honestly, I didn't read through the. "you're so short it's cute" bull ****!! That thing is looking Killer.... hope to see it in action Thanks, mmmmmmmm,
...........PURE EVIL.................i hope my 34 turns out that good when i start the frame fitment when the rig finishs it's tow to saudi..........
