    Howdy,
I just scored an old Dayton drill press for 30 bucks but the shaft on the 3/4 horse motor was bent and there is no pulley on the motor. I found a motor but still need a 6 step V-grove pulley. I have the busted machine cover for the top and it has some holes that look like something stuck out the front of it but there is nothing there.

Can someone that has an older Dayton or maybe Craftsman (saw a pic of a Craftsmant in the back ground of a hamb shop picture that looked nearly identical but couldn't see any details) snap me a few pictures of the inside of the machine cover area and the front of the machine cover so I know what to look for, please?
Any one know who might sell pulleys for drill presses?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the tips, found some 3 step pulleys that might be combined for a 6 step. Anyone know Daytons web site? I can't find it, if they have one.

Any body got any pictures of the top of their drill press they could post or send me? Purdy plez.:)

I don't think you need all 6 steps. I always was drilling near or over the capacity of mine. I never used anything but the smallest pullies.
