My 68 Dart is pictured twice!! A small black and white on page 114 and a large color on page 124. I know alot of You Guys could care less but Im pretty excited about it. Me and FEDSLED worked very hard building this car at home in the garage. Anyway just had to mention it. Oh, maybe Dawn here on the board took the pics. FEDER
Congrats Feder! When I was chatting with you at that event you mentioned selling it for another project. Is that still true? Now that it's a feature car in a nationally recognized rag, it should shoot the price waaay up!
Thanks again I am pretty stoked over it. Mercman hows that merc comin are Ya gonna drive it this summer? Comet I keep going back and forth on selling the Dart. You always lose on them and must expect to. But I surley wouldnt let it go too cheap. We have a couple more projects in mind the Bantam being one with a blown 392 Hemi. I havnt advertised the Dart. I still want to race it some more I know its got some 9 sec ETs in it. Its went 10.02 so Im sure with a little tuning it will. Fed
Yea We got it running for the Drags THAT weekend. Tech wouldnt let Him run it no side windows or door handles. Its got WAY more nuts than the 428 did. Its broke again toasted one of Randys Ring and pinions Aluminum case strange 9" with a detroit locker in it ????? WTF- thaught they were bulletproof. Fed
Yeah, I can understand that. Sure is a well built hot rod. I'm looking forward to seeing that Hemi Bantam though!
Haven't seen the new issue yet, but I'm stoked for you! Ran you twice??? Excellent! It is a cool car. Will you have the Bantam ready for the Goodguys event at the end of May? Dawn
Congrats, man! I understand how stoked you feel.........they put my Stedebaker in a couple of times........the ribbing from your friends is all in jest......or jealous! Good for you!
MOPAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the INK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guy's keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas! Cody
Yeah, I'd like to. Got all the "other stuff" outta the way, so I am down to only 2 project cars now. The other one doesn't count on this board, but it's driveable, and only needs cosmetics at this point. The Merc needs the most work. I'd like to have the Merc driveable by this spring/early summer. It's been too long in the making. I'm feeling like I need to put my money where my mouth is now. That's the goal anyways. First was to trim the fat, which I have now done. I got some room here to work with. Stickylifter's car has given me inspiration to get on with it...so to speak...I love bodywork, the whole cutting/fitting/welding the newer ch***is on my Merc got me bogged down this year; and for some reason, this seemed to be the summer of weekend weddings...I'm hoping to get back to the Merc now that it's gotten cold here. I'll keep everyone posted!
