excellent stuff this week......ryz, the bird is friggin' gorgeous, excellent attention to detail......here's a silly one from the garage....it's very ON topic because of the chain wallet! I use one so I can poke fun! Happy Holidays!

Thanks for remembering my stuff. I been busy (trying) to update the website. It'll have more art on it, images from local events, and (hopefully) historical rod stuff. Just learning the software is a huge leap, so check back when you can. I'm finding lots of holes in it already.

Hi Mike, I also remember you showing me pics of that 29 roadster pickup sitting out in the yard, I wanted that bad. I've always ***umed that is the same body that now makes fast salty runs. You had the best links page going back then!

  9. This is homemade, I know some won't think it art but it'll bet the pants off of any thing out of St. Louis and besides it's 7%. I tought I'd bring some to the drags next year. Oldsguy and I make 10 gallons at a time. Good stuff.

You ***ume right. That's the main reason 1149 is a roadster pick-up, we built it with what we had available.

The quality of search engine results along with other interests has allowed me to let maintenance of the links page slide. that type of page is no where near as important as it was back in the earlier days. I really should give it some time over the christmas break and at least clean it up.

Great work, Joel! In case anyone was wondering, that's metal flake in a rattle can (Seymour paint) with regular car clear over it. It looks a little uneven on camera, not so much in real life. I was having trouble with the aerosol in the can.

I made the lunchroom at the shop look like a 50's diner, but could never find a cool set of 50's style speakers. So I went to Goodwill, got an old set of speakers, and made these enclosures from some old aluminum I had around the shop. They are real hard to photograph, but I'm stoked by the way they came out............
