mine is a np 540, has a .82 fifth gear I have seen a few of the 1:1 fifth gear 5 speeds as well. if you are lucky here should be a metal data...

I am putting one of those 5 spd.s in my 65 c 10, only thing I have to do is enlarge the circle in the belhousing at a machine shop, bolt pattern...

you will mainly need some support at the front of the "new" 2 door 1/4, hardtops/converts usually have a triangulated wedge brace that is covered...
73-87 will make it look like a 4x4 by the time you are done it is about a 3 inch body lift to clear everything. seems like if you can find a 67-72...
I used a 73-87 chevy seat, took the brackets off and the 63 brackets bolted right to it, no drilling, no problems... the only thing that sucked...

garnish would match the interior, not the outside, so blk/w int. gets blk garnish, red/w gets red etc.....
so I think the question is about the side trim... canadian 150's had the 210 "wagon" side trim. usa 150's had no side trim at all. business...

all 59 and 60 gm cars had the same roof, the only difference are 2 hardtop,4 hardtop, and convert have a different roof/windshield than 2 sedan 4...
no it is a real car not a corvette, 55 clip 56 body and trim 57 fins... will try to find a pic neat, but I wouldn't own it
5and 6 will interchange directly, 57 has a completely different cowl, and would require some fab to make it work.
I think not on the drivers side, the v8 manifold that alot of guys use dumps straight down at the rear of the block. (about the only one that fits...
