"I know probably a dodge.." Not far off, looks pretty close to a 1929 DeSoto dash[ATTACH]
This is where the project stopped. I took on what was supposed to be a scuff and respray job on a 48 ford panel to make some cash for a trip...
Ok gents, another installment from 3 years ago. I really wanted to shorten it down and pull the back of the body ahead to allow the wheel wells to...
Thanks guys, I'll try not to disappoint. Since the guilty party outed himself here's the roadster that did the biting.[ATTACH] Another update...
Finished. [ATTACH] That's it for tonight.
More door work.[ATTACH] Starting to make the inner.[ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH] Forming the door top.[ATTACH][ATTACH]
I'm not going to lie, I had a hard time chopping up my dad's handy work but the vision of a roadster required me doing it. I did reuse my dad's...
Ok fellas (gals), I've finally decided to start this build thread. I'm a husband, dad and dairy farmer and this is supposed to be fun and not a...
The Hamb notifications let me down this time and I didn't see this update. Very cool profile. That's one wacked lid!!! Love it.
Can you just unbolt the rear axle from the frame and slide it in from the side? Or can you weld a new leg to the plate bolted to the body and...
Whoa! Looking really slick Bill. The way you are hammering away at your eh and Dale is working on his '55, I'm starting to feel like a slacker....
[ATTACH] I'll be there with the '40 and my fellow CanAm Curmudgeons.
Nice looking work. Subfloors are nicely done. I've found lots of things in a project car but never porcupine quills. Lucky there wasn't a...
Very cool. You're experience with the hammer reminds me of the body shop course I once took. I was expecting to learn about all the specialty...
[ATTACH] Looking good. Conduit idea reminds me of something like these.
Beautiful work. Loving the new looks.
Nice looking work Bill. It always sucks to have to abandon a cool idea for whatever reason. I like your idea for finishing the edge. Have a happy...
I like those! I've had to remake or beef up a tool once or twice before too. Nice simple solution. Keep at it.
Thanks guys, a lot of positive encouragement and good tips here, it's appreciated. Also lot of beautiful cars for inspiration as well. I think the...
Looking after to redo the upholstery in my 40 sedan in a traditional white tuck and roll. I'm looking for some advice or suggestions from those...
My 51 Chevy pickup has a 235/T5 the rear is a gm 12 bolt with 3:32 gears. Pulls nice off the line and cruises 70mph all day long

That looks perfect! Measure twice cut once? I was definitely waiting for an update and a side profile pic.
[ATTACH]Here's mine.
Looks like that's going to work good. The idea reminds me somewhat of the bustle back on a Vicky.
Looks like the procrastinating and thinking has paid off! Any side profile pics? I'm liking it!
I'd say tap the fins back. The generator on my 235 has the back edge on the fins more parallel with the case of the generator.
Just another thought, will the tank look like it's sticking that far out if the body was sitting lower on the frame? Or if the rear frame horns...
Not sure how I missed this update but I can clearly see why you want the tank moved forward. I like the stilt idea, much more fabrication but if...
I like 'em. Just installing a bigger displacement six in mine but ran the stock motor (unrebuilt) for a few years. The only thing done to it being...
