Mine on my '69' Camaro were yellow I believe. I think they were Mr. Gasket brand. Also I found these on the web:
check for loose bolts connecting pressure plate or torque converter to flywheel. I had them come loose on a car I had and it sounded like a rod.

On my '34 it said "non-expiring" I believe. I sold the car a few years ago and don't have the registration.
