traded this '87 rusty,bent,turd of a jeep that i had only $350 invested, for this '55 buick. best trade ever!
well if grinding the weld on the top of the bone is a no,no. could i build up the weld by welding on both sides and, top then grind smooth? not...
no,no, just very rusty/pitted on the bones themselves and, the weld i want to grind smooth is the factory weld that runs down the top of the bone....
ok, i had a little time today to work on the A. i split the bones and,welded in the bungs it didnt go to bad for my first time. is there any way...

why not pie cut? only ask because i was thinking about cutting them off at the factory weld and, swapping sides as they have that goofy bend in...

no! i would never grind,torch,ect. on the spring. but, when i split the bones ill need a shorter spring anyway so i thought about useing one thats...
