Well the fuelpump is stock and i have no idea how old it is ....The gas spilling out looked like it was coming form the top of the carb like...
Thanks I'll check that stuff out....I dont think i have any gaskets problems the carb was rebuilt a few months ago...And i checked for loose...
I dont think its a vac leak i did the old hand over the carb trick the car stalled right out i also checked the idle/air bleed valves i could get...
I have a 55 ford crown victoria with a 292 y-block it has a 2 bbl 3 bolt holley i think its a 94 model...Sunday i had it out when i was pulling...
Oh ok i thought mine was the only one any other way i might be able to get it loose so i can adjust the timing?
Thanks but with the pertronix on the ford system I have it didnt call for removal or any shims..I know on a small block chevy's it does...
I have a 55 ford with a 292 Y-block i installed a pertronix system and went to go set my timing and 1st my Dist is frozen to the block so i soaked...
Joe that sounds good do you know to adjust the rockers i need that done badly they are clacking away more so then i have heard other y-blocks i...
Whats the black wire i know there is one there but what do you mean check....
Well to come to think of valve trane problems i have solids that are a little louder then i think they should be will improper valve lash cause...
Yeah i think for the hell of it tomorrow i will change them... Before i put the pertronix in i had a miss too but i thought that was the points...

Ok i have a 55 crown Vic with a 292, 3 on the tree...About 3 weeks ago i installed a pertronix system the car runs great starts right up and seems...
Well i just put in a pertronix in my 55 ford and it works fine ...I dont know about any other type of dist. that might work...You can try this...

Yes the grille is a 55 plymouth................
this picture was taken in 1958 that was the car a long time ago..... The rear tailights are the front parking lights and the quaters are kustom...

I took some new pictures of my car at a local show this weekend, with the grille installed,new tires,dual anntena's, 57 ford hubcaps,and the 57...

That car is sharp looking...like it alot...I just put in that grille in my 55 ford looks AWESOME.....

I had to think that over it isnt random it does it when it feels like it not always the same time it might run fine for a few minutes then it does...
