c02 and aluminum wire can be used on any mig welder except for gasless.I use this setup at work and on a small mig i have at home.

Here is one i found the other week it's got a 318 in it and i can get it for cheap.Just don't know if i want it.

Great work i have followed this build and love it.I have restored cars for almost 20 years now would not even have thought of building a car out...
Here is one i made from sheet metal and a scrap bit of alloy but i'm not done yet.
