hey guy's... I have been driving my 53' around, and i really like driving it as is with the 6 and 3 speed, dropped down 5" in the back.....sorta...
i love these cars.. i saw a 46' ford years ago on ebay that was found in a shack on someones property.... early hemi and super super stiff rear...
here is a few shots of my 235....running a 54' corvette header and i just got a matched set of carters for the McGurk intake in the one photo.....

i think id lower it both front and back.. i'd also leave the rear un-radiused because that was the way it was ran back when it was raced......

i'd go with the 14x6 steels and a set of the hurst cheater slicks... and no caps. but what you have is killer too.
