yeah i would give this a miss. firstly, you have the structural issues of welding bracketry to the stub. 2nd you can get straight up bolt on kits...
That pin striper is awesome. i do a little myself and know how hard it is to pull lines 1/4 good as that. real good eye for design.
i have a 4 door and really you just go get some marine ply and cut to shape. make a template out of cardboard if need be, cut to size, trace, cut...

for what you're trying to achieve i would go w/ 295x15x50 rear w/ atleast the 185x15 front but would definately lean towards 205 front. brand new...
