This car is in great shape. I am the third owner. The second owner owned it since 1978 and kept it up the whole time. He rebuilt the motor in the...

Thanks, not as in depth as yours, but Doug does great work!!
I have had this car since August of last year. Almost of RECORD length for me! Anyway it was bone stock, previous owner had it since 78, and kept...

Did the HAMB change again? Just got used to new forums. Now doesn't show them. On phone but always worked before now.
Also no way on stick. Invest in a used mig welder. Minimum of $300 for an ok machine. Any less, steer clear.
A cheap welder does not work for body work. They will cause more issues than they will help a decent miller or Lincoln flux core would work. But...
Waaay overpriced. Being a common truck I would say no more than $1000 for value. Lot of work there.
Going to order a new starter tomorrow Ill check that first Wont start after a day of sitting, so not a hot cold thing...
Put a new Soleniod on, no luck, I feel more and more it is the connection at starter. I agree cant be safety neutral, Soleniod pops when in park,...
I am going to try that. I figure that's best way to test the solenoid. Btw its 10 degrees with subzero windchill and cars in driveway so this...
I am thinking I will start with replacing the solenoid (they are cheap), and check with connections. The battery cables are in good shape.
Well sometimes it will try and crank but do it very slowly. And the solenoid will click. But where is the safety switch located? I have the swing...
I have tried that... shifted up and down, tried in neutral as well... Unless its just really bad and knows to do it 4th or 5th time, that cant be it
Tried a larger battery, that cant be the issue Thats what I thought, but wouldnt it start right up when you jump it, if that was the case?...
I dont usually post questions like these, but I am stumped. I have tried a different battery and I get the same thing. I am thinking it must be...
Cool car! I wish I could find one just like it! Ive got a body and 32 rails, but nothin beats an A full fendered.
South side of Tulsa?? Ouch! That's midtown!;-)
Thats a decent option...
I am not saying the 9" was as popular or as good as a rear end... but there are alot worse options he could be replacing it with.
9" axles were around at the same time. No shame in switching. Just as traditional.
Most kits are setup for caliper to be on backside. That's really how they should be
I would build it, I would think a stepside longbed would be a tough sell.
Hey Bluedot! I would use some seam sealer, wouldnt hurt in any location like that. Use your finger to press it down there... depending how fat...
I have been going back and forth on this. Money wise cheaper in long run to start with a body only. I picked up some 32 rails and going to find a...
good looking car.
I am not familiar with A roadster dashes and cowls, but something looks off here... This is the body I am interested in....
Their ebay adds have full contact info listed...maybe they do better on ebay than website? Their feedback seems good as well......
