i'm from the same area as Chastin, so even if i were to try to make a living i wouldnt be able to compete, but the money isnt why i got into it...

i do it, and no doubt my grandpa did it. his 69 datsun 521 he bought new is discolored all except where his elbow rested out the window
yeah, sorry about the O/T vehicle.
kinda the main reason i did it, in hopes that some 40+ yrs from now someone pulls it out and ,if nothing else atleast gets a smile out of it
while we were standing around my friends fresh built transmission waiting to decide we were finally ready to get it back in the truck, the owner...
ouch, coming from someone who's work i admire that kinda stings.:) however i realize you did say most not all. i agree we do have those that dont...
yup, we were in my wife's black and white '67 Datsun that night
4 MACK sword stripers, a pounce pad and wheel kit, 2 SO-CAL t's (Weesner coupe and pinstriped sled) and some air ride parts for my truck
carry a short piece of hose w/ ya that fits on the end of the nozzle
not a horrible idea, mini trucks may not be HAMB friendly but as far as the work that goes in to them there's more actual "kustom" work and fab...
