That,s right the factory used 2 body brackets under the floor but while your there anyway just make a center strut for more rigidity.

Hi check out my build it might help. It,s not rocket science but just a lot of work It took me 2 months and a 4 by 10 foot piece of 18 guage....
After 45 years there is some life back into my Henry J
I haven't posted an update for a while so here are some pics I will be on the road this spring
