Mine is a very late 36 so the vertical wood pieces are steel like a 37. I know its common for people to take the entire dash support and door jams...

i have 18 inch brockman steel packs i love them but they are pretty loud, i have 2.5 inch all the way back with a strong 383 at a cruise its quiet...

From what I know and understand the main diffrence is how the car will follow grooves. Bia plys will follow much more then radials all be it a pie...
