Charlie -- Thanks for that link. The first picture in your post from back then cleared it up for me. The ridge on the Model A hub (with the arrow...
I don't understand all I know about this. I'm trying to put '35 wire wheels on 40's hubs. I bought the spacers which everyone says you need for...
Fords, of course, were not built to the same standard as Packards or Deusenbergs. But folks still want to make them better than they ever were....
Or you could just paint them black. ;)
Ooh! And 1915 pedals at that! :)
That's great news, Randy! We hope to have you back out on the hwys of NWA very soon.
It's good to see you back, Randy!
Lots of little pieces to make it all come out right. :)
Oh yes. Very nice! Not the plane, the pic before that. :)
That's lovely! :)
Congratulations! That's a major step, and it looks great! :)
That car is crying out for a Flattie! ;)
So there is a glimmer of hope; that's good news. We need Randy to be out in his coupe tearing up the highways of NWA. :)
Oh no! That doesn't sound good at all. :(
Randy -- Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but glad it was found in time to deal with it. Best of luck on your upcoming procedure. Mike.

Hearing them run for the first time is always an exciting moment! :)
All ya' gotta do to straighten line which is in a coil is to set the coil upright on a flat table, hold the end down, and unroll it. It comes out...
That forward-sloping B-pillar on the yellow one really gives it some attitude!
You're building a left-hand driver?
Very nice pics, and an interesting build. I'll be watching. :)
Stormy -- I apologize for being tardy in answering your question. I didn't see your post until today. Yes, those shock mounts are welded to the...
Nice job on the mirror brackets. Your ingenuity is inspirational.
Looks like a wonderful project and you're doing it justice. Good work! :)
Hi, Randy -- Congrats on getting your new project. It looks like you have a solid car to work with. I've been thinking about doing a custom...
With a different engine and a different body, is it the same car? It reminds me of the axe George Washington used to cut down the cherry tree....
I believe he meant to say "pedigree."
And, FWIW, your '23 body is actually a '24 or '25. The firewall and cowl are taller and wider on the 24-5's than on the '23 and earlier ones. :)
