The Jalopy Journal
Thanks Norb! This stuff takes alot longer to build than I thought.:D Not long now though.
I'll look into that. Thanks.
Thats quite a find...
Back in the day (20's - 40's) what were they using to attach the license plates to the brackets? Plain ol nuts and bolts? Rubber washers? Acorn...
Wow, now theres an answer. I was thinking just spray it down with wd-40 every so often...
Cant imagine being in Japan and seeing one of those cars drive by. Your jaw would drop.
\ That one of Norberts?
Howdy...
That was funny!
I would dig a big hole, line it with concrete then fill the car with memorabilia from 07. After that I would throw a flimsy plastic cover over it...
Its a standard wishbone mount cut in half and welded to the frame. Would be easy to make one though too.
What better time than now. After all, what is today but yesterdays tomorrow.
Sweet car! But lose the Mitsubishi alternator...
Not yet. Business has really slowed down. All thats left to do is the brake lines and driveshaft but I'm outta $. Gonna be about another month...
What about highbeams, bra or skidmarks? And the term "a little sugar in your gastank" Ok, I'm done.
Oh yeah, and getting new rubber for better traction.
Blow a seal.
And what about tailpipe? And doing a doughnut...
Put me down for a quick pulley...
The split bones are pretty stiff. Don't think they can twist or flex much. Havnt driven it yet though, so you may be right. I'll let you know....
Me rikey!
Thanks.:)
Sho is.
Its a reversed saginaw.
One more...
Wheels and tires are 15x5 6.70 all the way around. Heres the box installed in the car. Still need to bolt it down to the frame but it looks to...
That cant be a classic photo. The cars too close to the ground. Everyone knows thats a modern thing...
Engine is not powered by electricity. A motor can be.
Gadzooks! Dig the car and the paint...
