I used 00. Make sure you get a good ground from the block to the frame as well.
And not a fastback in the lot...
WHAT IN THE WORLD?
I run a "modern" MH cheater slick on my '63 and it looks good, but I'll be opening up some extra space in my fender well this winter, so I'm...
What about fights over who gets the last toaster strudel?
Right on.
^^ Wow that's cool. The guy who owns the place I get my film developed at in Baltimore made his living taking panoramic (including 360*) shots.
Here's a couple more of the 1964 Mustang (See, it's HAMB friendly!) [IMG] [IMG]
I need to go back and look over the posts here, but I forgot about this thread. Here's some photos from a hot rod road trip I took with my wife...
Yeah! And cars are meant to be driven! Where are you driving yours??! :D
And it also depends on what era you're going for. People still drove cars from the 50's into the 60's, and 60's into the 70's, so you could have a...
So about that $195 pearl paint job...
I like the look of my American Racing Torque Thrust D's. But of course, I'm not an old fart who was alive during the 60-70's who can remember...
I hope it has A/C!
ahahaha that's funny.
That's crazy. I'm in the Army Reserve stationed at Ft. JBMDL. Were they using an abandoned air strip? I wonder if it's still around.
What a turd. Just kidding. Cool car. What are you using for roof racks? Here's my dad's 40: [IMG]
Is the 'boom' the sound of the tire exploding? I'm not sure if they would be able to handle such a large load.
This is my thought... Are bias ply tires less prone to 'blowing out' when tubes are used? I wouldn't think of running them without tubes.
Welp, too late for that. The first thing I did was pump them up to 25 lbs each. :D One of them held air OK and the other leaked through the valve...
I don't know... I heard that when bias ply tires go flat they explode into flaming fireballs and send radioactive rays in every direction.
They're pretty dry-rotted. You guys think if I get some tubes for them I could putz around my neighborhood with them?
Nope. We got some snow today in Baltimore.
Yes... You are correct. They aren't the same tires in the ad...
Found these for sale on Craigslist with a bunch of other junk. Scooped them up. They're early 60's M&H Super Stock (Gold Bar Series?)...
He's got his eye on a 383 from an East Coast builder that we see at Carlisle every year. Should look something like this. Period correct? Nahhh....
That's the plan. He's 61 years old now and still working full time, so who know when it'll be though. He tells me that once he finishes one of his...
A picture of my dad's '40 that was his primary form of transportation when he was younger. It's been sitting in our garage for the past 24-ish...
AR15....hahaha Prefect20, I love that second photo of your Austin's gauges. Man the salt flats look insanely beautiful. I can't imagine being...
I really love side shots of cars. There aren't many things better than the thunderbird roof line. I'm glad my '63 Hardtop inherited some of that....
