Russ no more makes 32 and 33 bodies, no 34's though.
Intake gaskets on fe motors are nortorious for failing and either sucking in oil or water into the combustion chamber

Sounds like classic intake gasket problem, you need to glue them to the head and let them set up before you set the intake.
Bilstein makes a nice quality gas shock. I'm using a set on the front of my 32, very nice stable ride.

I put the shocks on the front, and the coil overs on the rear of my 32 coupe. Big difference and great quality pieces.
