Box is a Saginaw 605 P/S unit. Yes the pipes took some thought to route with the box/oil filter. I will take a pic for you.
It was not a stretch drop. I dropped the spindles myself.

Got the axle from Sid. Great guy to deal with.
I mig weld. You can’t go hog wild. Small welds and cool to prevent warping. Also really close gaps are key.

Both lower hinges were blown out. The check straps were long gone. The doors both actually fell off the first time we opened them.
Yeah she was a very rough truck. The owner wanted a modern feel but wanted to keep the patina.

Yes if my sway bar was not in the way unless this hose tucks up fast in front of the sway bar.

yeah I think I should get the front sheetmetal on and see where I am at. It is going to run an electric fan so height for the fan does not matter.
Lowering the sway bar is a no go after looking at it. I think my only resolve is to do a tight 90 degree on the rad opening and get it pointed up....
