stripped some paint off the ol 35 wires
although its a "12V" battery a battery with a full charge will read 12.6V with out any load. if it is reading a lil just a lil over 12 its posible...
what sort of turn out for the drags do you have? any top fuelers or the like coming out?

i can see late models becoming popular and people building them up with some monster motors. that doesnt mean they have to replace the real rods....
whats the deal with the blower mounted infront of the motor and piped to the front of the intake?

bunch o stuff, exhaust leaks, timing issues...not always a bad sign though, alot of built motors with free flowing exhaust will pop on deceleration
loop a shoe string round the plug wire so you can just pull the plug on that sucker

no it shouldnt drain on the ground unless it gets over filled there is probably a pin hole in the top somewhere to let the preasure escape.......
In a 67 mustang i used to have when i first got it and before i knew the gas gauge showed 1/4 when it was actually empty, ran out of gas going up...
