Picked up 50ish NOS Ford flathead cams this week that will grow into KiWi-L100 camshafts. [ATTACH]
Many v/60 midgets have a crank driven water pump. So unfortunately your suggestion wouldn’t work.

Wire diameter & number of coils make up spring rate.oh and height.
Couple of things here. First cutting/shortening of spring stiffens rate of spring making it stiffer. Second you can cut with gas torch as where...
Plumbed race cars with stainless for years. Should NOT double flare stainless. Typically cracks. Single flare only with collars installed first...
Highly recommend “KiWi-L100” loved world wide. Especially with the great engine combo your building. What ever your choice. Enjoy the build.

So if this is a Flathead Superdual. Intake height or intake period has nothing to do with oil pump.
Get the shorter pushrod that matches the intake.
Flywheel weight? Search for the old Ford “Cobra” dual plane intake. If it’s legal. Way better than a performer.
If it has stock 1936 starter switch on floor it is NOT ground activated but a hot switch.

Make a cup from leather. Many of this type of pump used leather.
