Found a pair of NOS corvette valvecovers for the 283, need a few more parts before I'll rebuild it.
Done welding.
This is going to take awhile :( not traditional or hard to find at all but will get the job done, some 5-speed BMW transmission with a chevy...

thanks, it will be chromed. my chrome bill is going to ruin me anyways with rims,bumpers,grille,window mouldings etc. etc...
Alot of straightening, welding, fitting and leading of the hood since it was really beat up, also made it one piece.
No pics of the brakebooster but it is similar to the ones speedway motors are selling for 1940s pick up trucks.

Thank you for the kind words guys. Started with the tubegrille today before I got thristy and had to head over to the local bar
Reversed the stock wheels, they're going to get chromed,get some shannon cones and bf goodrich silvertown bias plys.
Much better..and now on to working on the grille.
Some welding done on the bumper.
Square bar insead of tubes, but we'll see.
Thank you, yes that is the plan. it is going need quite a bit of welding..making it one piece,shotening it to fit the wheelopenings etc. etc.

A close up on the antenna holes on the passenger side door, I'm also doing some bondowork on the rear fenders at the moment..:(
Well I'm out of ideas on the grille at the moment, I've also been busy with som other stuff,like painting dirtbike helmets lately but soon enough...

Some GM cylinder with a 7" booster, yes both the brake and clutch pedals are stock but the rest of it had to be made. Thanks.
