It"s a 34-35 Chev std or 34 master. The master is bigger than the standard.
I am running a Champ Quickchange with straight cut gears and it really not that loud.

If you have not turned this engine over since installing the trans and converter, check the length of the converter and flex plate bolts.
I use Micky Thompson tubes in mine. Valve stem stub bolts to wheel and stem assembly screws into stub.
It is located on the right side floor main wooden body sill. It is a metal tag nailed to the sill. As a reference it is near the rt hinge pillar.
