Well, the old ones were too wide for the wheels= handling issue. The new ones fit the wheel better.

One of those terminals is ground. If you have ground on the wrong terminal, you get dim lights.
I used a new 1406 on the stock 350 in my diamond t and it's perfect. Adjusted the idle speed and the mixture screws and done.
